Welcome to Bulloved

I love dressing my dogs up in cute outfits. Before I had bulldogs, it was easy to buy clothing for them. My Maltipoo, Spider-Man, had some really handsome outfits. When my husband and I got Mushy, our first bulldog, NOTHING ever fit him right. I had to pin things or cut the clothing to fit him. Why did Spider-Man get to have all the fun?

We moved to Southern California in the fall of 2019 and adopted Holly Bear, our second bulldog. A few months later the pandemic hit and as many people did, I decided to pick up a hobby (or rather restart an old hobby). My great grandmother had taught me how to sew on an Antique Singer machine when I was little, so I thought I could start sewing clothes for Mushy and Holly Bear. Seeing as we spent a lot of time on the beach I wanted to make something cool and something they could be active in.

While not every dog is shaped the same, Bulldogs are SO many shapes and sizes. I have tested out many materials and designs and was going to make a line with a sizing chart of S, M, L, etc. but I thought that is what I didn't like about the clothes I have bought for Mushy.

So Bulloved was born, custom made tank tops, with only three measurements.
